Spin it to Win the $CANDY Jackpot!
I’m thrilled to introduce a new in-game feature for our chefs! This idea originated from our Discord’s #suggestion channel and will be live in the game starting on December 14th, 2023. We’re always open to suggestions, so please share your thoughts with us on the #suggestion channel. Let’s dive in!
Where to Find it?
You’ll find the Cake Festival object in front of Willy’s House on Cooking Street and between Sichuan House and Christmas Party House on Beach Street. However, to enter you must be at least Chef Level 5.
How to Play?
Here’s how it looks. Just like the Lucky Ball Spin, you need a ticket to spin the cake. These tickets are only sold in the shop found in the lower-left corner.
As you see in the image below, each ticket costs 1 $CANDY, and you can buy them in a bundle of 10, 100, or 1,000 tickets.
What are the rewards?
There are two types of rewards: Guaranteed Rewards and Jackpot Rewards. From the total sales of Festival Tickets, 50% will go to the Guaranteed Rewards’ $CANDY pool, and the other 50% will go to Jackpot $CANDY Rewards.
Guaranteed Rewards are what you see on the Cake Spin. For each spin, you are guaranteed a reward from the list below. Here is the probability of each item:
Jackpot Reward is literally a Jackpot. The amount you see under the “Mega Cake Jackpot” panel on the right is the amount accumulated and is being refreshed periodically. However, due to differences in an individual’s network environment, the amount you win and the amount displayed on the panel may differ.
How to win Jackpot?
Let’s look at the GIF below first. After getting a Guaranteed reward, you get a chance to win a Jackpot. You need to choose from 3 boxes, and the probability of winning it is 1/100,000.
You might think the probability is too low, but think of it this way: you’ve already won a guaranteed reward from spinning it with 1 $CANDY, and all the rewards cost more than 1 $CANDY if you were to buy them from the Candy Shop. The jackpot is an extra chance for you to win!
If you don’t win the Jackpot, you will see the box with balloons flying out of it, as mentioned above. When you win it, you will see the box flooding with $CANDY. Let’s take a look at it!
Did you notice something different? The Jackpot originally said the winning amount was 50 $CANDY, but you won 90 $CANDY in total. This may happen when you are doing a x5 spin.
As you can see, you will be able to see the most recent winners’ list on the left. You see my name listed twice, which means from the x5 spin, I won the Jackpot twice. So 50 $CANDY is what was collected, and the 40 $CANDY is the basic pool we set for the Jackpot. Once you’ve won the jackpot, you need to claim it to own it by tapping on the button you find on the box on the right.
Please note that all the screenshots were taken under test mode, so the probability is different from the actual mode.
We’ve been listening to our community, and some have mentioned having a hard time winning $CANDY from the gameplay since it requires gaming skills and strategic Kitchen/Interior upgrades.
